We at Trinity Lutheran Church use the rich, Scripture filled, historic liturgies and hymns that have
sustained the Church throughout the centuries.  The first two Sundays of the month we use Divine
Service, Setting Three found in Lutheran Service Book.  The last two Sundays of the month we use
Divine Service, Setting One found in Lutheran Service Book.  We also, on occasion, use Matins
and
Divine Service, Setting Four
to order the service.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper in the confession and glad confidence that as our Lord says, He
gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but His very body and blood to eat and to drink for the
forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with Him and with one another.  The Lord’s Supper is
God’s gift for Christians who are properly instructed and are able to examine themselves.  Our Lord
invites to His table those who share these beliefs, trust His words, repent of all sin, and set aside any
refusal to forgive and love as He forgives and loves us.

By communing together we also acknowledge our common commitment to all the teachings of the
Bible as they are confessed in our church.  Our practice of Close Communion, the historic practice of
the Church, is prompted by love, both for God’s Word and for God’s people.  This practice bows the
knee to God’s deep concern for doctrinal truth and unity.

If you are not a member of this congregation, or the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we
respectfully request you speak with a pastor before coming to the Lord’s Supper.  For further study, see:
Matthew 5:23ff, 10:32ff; 18:15-35; 26:26-29; Acts 2:42; Romans 16:17; 1 Corinthians 11:17-33.

Bible Class & Sunday School

We offer a variety of Bible Classes for the adults.  We have large classes held in the Fellowship Hall,
as well as smaller group settings held in individual classrooms.  Sunday School for all children is held
in various classrooms throughout the building.  These classes are held each Lord’s Day at 9:15 AM.

Nursery

Now is the time to teach your child what is going on in worship.  Whether a child is two or twelve,
there is so much that can be done to lead children into the riches of the Divine Service.  Therefore, we
think it best for your child to be with you in worship.  However, if you need, please feel free to use our
staffed nursery, open to all children under 3 years.  If you need to quiet your child during the service, the
Divine Service may be viewed on a TV in the Narthex.  There is also a TV in the nursery airing the Divine
Service
.
