Senior Pastor Reverend Dr. Robert Leonard Budewig attended Concordia College in Austin and Concordia Senior College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana where he graduated in 1971 with a B.A. degree. In 1976 he received his Master of Divinity degree and was certified by the Colloquy Committee for ordination in the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. In 1994, Pastor Budewig completed a graduate program at Austin Presbyterian Seminary and received his Doctor of Ministry degree in Evangelism. Pastor Budewig has previously served churches in Alamo, Texas, Sulphur, Louisiana, and Belton, Texas. He also served as Campus Pastor for the University of Houston. He was installed as Senior Pastor of Trinity Lutheran on September 16, 2001. Pastor Budewig is married to the former Nancy Aden. They have one daughter, Joy, as well as a niece Ashton and nephew Austin. Pastor Budewig enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
Associate Pastor Reverend Randall Wehmeyer attended Concordia University in Austin where he graduated in 2001 with a B.A. degree in Communications. After college, Pastor Wehmeyer enrolled in Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. After two years of Seminary, Pastor Wehmeyer received his vicarage assignment to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bossier City, Louisiana. He retuned to the Seminary for one final year of formal studies, and he received his Master of Divinity degree in May 2005. Pastor Wehmeyer received a Call, issued through the Board of Assignments, to serve as Associate Pastor here at Trinity Lutheran. After his ordination at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Whitney, Texas on July 10, 2005, he was installed here at Trinity on August 7, 2005. Pastor Wehmeyer enjoys playing the trumpet and organ in his free time, as well as spending time with family.
